SAP SuccessFactors Growth Portfolio

1. Growth Portfolio is enabled
2. User Permissions - Growth Portfolio - Team Portfolio are granted to Managers
3. User Permissions - Growth Portfolio - View permissions are granted to Managers
4. Go to Growth Portfolio as a Manager and see that "Team View" button is not displayed
5. Managers can't view and edit others' Growth Portfolio

1. "Exclude granted users from having the same access to themselves" option is enabled in Manager's role assignment

2. "Granted users also have the same access to themselves" option is not enabled in Manager's role assignment

For Growth portfolio to work properly for managers it is required to grant permissions to users themselves.

Please disable the option "Exclude granted users from having the same access to themselves" and enable "Granted users also have the same access to themselves" option, save the role and see that "Team View" button becomes active.

Workaround to set the RBP roles to have Manager read-only access for their Growth portfolio, but Edit permissions for their reports' attributes in Team view:

To achieve this scenario you will need to create 3 separate permissions roles in the system:

1. Manager role, that will have Edit (and, if necessary, Create/Delete) Growth portfolio permissions with target population set as "Granted users' direct reports" and with "Exclude granted users from having the same access to themselves" option enabled.
2. Manger role, that will have Team view access with target population set as "Granted users' direct reports" and with "Granted users also have the same access to themselves" option enabled.
3. Employee role with View Growth portfolio permissions with the target population set to Employee self.

With this combination of 3 RBP roles set in the system, the Managers will be able to View their own Growth portfolio, but at the same time they will have access to Team view and will be able to edit their direct reports attributes.
