Can the Edit button be hidden from the Object Quick Card?

The permission that will grant the User ability to Edit the Object through the Quick Card is the following:

Manage Permission Roles > [Select the role] > Administrator Permissions > MDF Foundation Objects > [Select the Object] > Remove the edit permissions:

• Create
• Insert
• Correct
• Delete
• Import/Export

If the Object is a custom one, you can refer to this KBA and grant the same READ ONLY permissions: 3217298 - User is Not Able to See or Edit Custom Object Field Value in Job Requisition - Recruiting Management.

NOTE: This change also applies to other areas on SuccessFactors, including the ability to edit the Object via Manage Data. Make sure to review the impacts before applying any change.
