3499869 - Error Message During Master Data Updating in Maintain Business Partner App - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

An error message 'Customer xxxxx : Partner role SH already exists (only provided once)' is displayed during master data updating in the Maintain Business Partner application.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Open the Maintain Business Partner application.
2. Enter the customer number xxxxx and select it.
3. Change Display in BP Role to Customer.
4. Navigate to Sales and Distribution data.
5. Click on the change mode.
6. Go to the Partner Function tab and attempt to add a new ship to party (different from xxxx that is already present for example ffffff ). The system will display the error message "Customer xxxxxx: Partner role SH already exists (only provided once)".

If the partner function is not marked as Unique, then user should able to maintain more than one partner with this partner function via the SSCUI 101286.
