3500035 - Switzerland Vat return XML UID tag does not have the correct format

You noticed that the UID in Switzerland Tax return XML file does not correspond to what is maintained in the system.

SAP Business ByDesign 

1. Go to the Tax Management Work Center.
2. Select the VAT Returns view.
3. Search for VAT return ID XXX(XX represents the ID of the Vat return).
4. Go to the attachments tab and open TAXDECL-XXXXX.xml.
   
   Result: When you look for UID tag in the XML, it shows with a leading 0 instead of what is maintained in the system(starts by a 1).

The CH UID number in the Company Tax Arrangement needs to be maintained with hyphens and dots. After that, the value will appear correctly in the tag. The value maintained is CHEXXXXXXXXX HR/MWST. You should maintain it as CHE-XXX.XXX.XXX HR/MWST.

1. Go to the Tax Management Work Center.
2. Select Tax Authorities.
3. Select the relevant Tax Authority and click on Edit Company Tax Arrangements.
4. Click on Tax Numbers tab.
5. For the field 2 - UID Number, change the value from format CHEXXXXXXXXX HR/MWST to CHE-XXX.XXX.XXX HR/MWST.
