3500187 - Outbound POSC - HU External Step is not updated after WT confirmation

Symptom

You work with HUs (Handling Units) and use Process Oriented Storage Control (POSC).

As an example, your outbound POSC was defined in SCM Extended Warehouse Management -> Extended Warehouse Management -> Cross-Process Settings -> Warehouse Task -> Define Process-Oriented Storage Control like this:

Storage Process (field PRCES) OUT1.

Steps (field PROCS):
OB01 - Picking - Internal Process Step PICK
OB02 - Packing - Internal Process Step PAC
OB03 - Staging - Internal Process Step STAG
OB04 - Loading - Internal Process Step LOAD

You observe that despite confirming a Warehouse Task (WT) with External Step OB03, the HU goes to the desired destination Storage Type but remains with the previous External Step OB02.
This prevents its loading.

When trying to load (perform OB04 step) via /SCWM/RFUI, you may receive errors below:

In case loading is made by HU:
"E: HU &1 is not ready for loading
/SCWM/RF_DE257"

In case loading is made by TU:
"E: Whse process control must not be deactivated acc. to whse proc. cat. &1
/SCWM/L3046"
