3500886 - After QRC3 upgrade, adding Custom Widget "File Widget Upload v2.0.7" to the story will return error message in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• After QRC3 upgrade, adding Custom Widget "File Widget Upload v2.0.7" to the story will return error message in SAC.
• Error message: "Something went wrong. The system couldn't load the custom widget 'com.sap.fileUploadWidget_2.x' (kind: 'main') for this reason: The system took too long to define the custom widget. Please contact your system administrator or the owner of the custom widget."; and "[Application Error]:s.getLegacyDateCalendarCustomizing is not a function"

1. Login to SAC.
2. Create a new Optimized Design Experience story.
3. Navigate to Left side Panel/Assets and add Custom Widget "File Widget Upload v2.0.7" => error:

"Something went wrong. The system couldn't load the custom widget 'com.sap.fileUploadWidget_2.x' (kind: 'main') for this reason: The system took too long to define the custom widget. Please contact your system administrator or the owner of the custom widget."

• New version of "File Widget Upload" have to be uploaded to the SAC tenant.
• Custom Widget "File Upload Widget" is designed as a sample and provided in SAP community, it has not been provided as part of SAC standard features.

• Upload the new version of the package to the SAC tenant.
• The following resolution is needed to be followed to solve the issue:
  • Please follow KBA 3411460 about case processing related to Custom Widget.
  • The source code for this widget is provided and customers can adapt as necessary to meet their requirements.
  • An official version of the data upload feature will be released later in 2024.

  • It is advisable for the customer's consulting team to carefully verify them before implementation.
