3501816 - Unable to change the Position status to Inactive

The Position status does not change on setting the status field to Inactive on any of the Positions.

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
• SAP SuccessFactors Position Management

1. Manage Positions > Position: XXXX
2. Take Action > Make Correction or Insert a New Record
3. Change the "Status" from Active to Inactive
4. Save > Successfully Save
5. Check the Status does not change and remains as Active

There are duplicate fields configured as "Status" in the the Position config UI which is not needed -> (one is visible, another is invisible and both are driving the "effectiveStatus" value.).

If the same field is added twice, it can lead to various issues and is not supported.

Please ensure to remove one of the duplicate fields configured as "Status" in the Position Config UI which is not needed and the status change will be successfuly saved.
