You design HANA data backup plan: everyday the old data backup files will be overwritten by the new data backup file. ---- the data backup filename is same.
You observed that hdbindexserver holds the deleted backup files. It caused the space is not released. From the output of 'ls -al', the old backup files are removed. But the space is not released. If HANA restart, the space will be released.
