3501925 - "Issuer and Subject Already Registered" When Creating SAML IDP in SAP HANA

Symptom

While attempting to create a new SAML Identity Provider (IDP) in SAP HANA, an error message appears stating "Issuer and Subject already registered with new IDP name."

This occurs despite the new IDP not existing in HANA.

The exact error message is:

"Creating provider failed because of internal error: Subject CN=<Your CN Name>, OU=<OU>, O=<O>, L=<L>, SP=<SP>, C=<C> and issuer CN=<Your issue CN name>, DC=<DC>, DC=scbdev, DC=net already registered with SAML provider <Your new IDP name>."
