3502193 - F1685A: 'Error while uploading the attachment' - SAP Gateway error

Symptom

SAP Gateway error 'Error while uploading the attachment' occurs in fiori app 'Record Inspection Results (Version 2)' (F1685A) when uploading attachment to a characteristic.

In transaction /IWFND/ERROR_LOG following error can be seen in backend system:

Message No. /IWFND/CM_CONSUMER122 - Function call failed; could not find the function OBJECT_CHECK_QAMR
