3502249 - Cancel Purchase Order button is disabled on Purchase Order Screen

You have cancelled the follow-up  documents but still you are unable to cancel the order.

SAP Business By Design

1. Go to Purchase requests and orders wc
2. Select view Purchase Orders
3. Select the respective order
4. Cancel Purchase Order is not enabled

The purchase order has follow up documents created which were cancelled but the cancellation documents are not yet posted to General Ledger i.e. journal entry (JE) is not created yet. Hence the cancellation posting is not complete and system is not able to understand that the follow up documents are cancelled.

Hence the purchase order status is still not in sent status and shows "follow up document created" status where you cannot cancel the order.

Kindly check if there are any inconsistencies in the cancellation documents, and if so, please correct the errors and post the cancellation documents in General Ledger so that journal entry (JE) gets created.

Then the purchase order will be back to sent status and will be open for cancellation.
