Reversal of automatically posted depreciation gives error AA470 - Reversal is not possible (no line items exist for the document number)

Automatically posted depreciation values cannot be reversed using the Reverse Journal Entries in Asset Accounting. 

Instead, depreciation key 0000 (no depreciation) can be used with a time interval if necessary. Assign the key and execute a depreciation run. This will create inverse planned values that will offset to a net zero value once posted via a depreciation run.

Alternatively, if there are only a few acquisition postings, these can be reversed, followed by a depreciation run. The reversal of acquisition will create inverse planned values that will offset to a net zero value once posted via a depreciation run. Once complete, repost the acquisition values and execute the depreciation run for the required periods.

Be aware that mass reversals is not an option in Asset Accounting, the functionality is not available.
