Symptom
- When using Variant Pricing, validation errors may occur when entering manual prices for currencies that allow 0 decimal places (for example, JPY or KRW).
- When a whole-number manual price (for example, 10000 JPY) is entered, SAP CPQ sends the value with decimal places (for example, 10000.00 JPY) to the Pricing Service.
- The Pricing Service rejects the request with an error similar to: "Incorrect number of decimals for currency JPY. Allowed number of decimals is 0."
- As a result, the manual pricing condition cannot be created, and the pricing update fails.
