3502794 - Manual pricing fails for zero-decimal currencies (for example JPY and KRW) in SAP CPQ Variant Pricing

• When using Variant Pricing, validation errors may occur when entering manual prices for currencies that allow 0 decimal places (for example, JPY or KRW).
• When a whole-number manual price (for example, 10000 JPY) is entered, SAP CPQ sends the value with decimal places (for example, 10000.00 JPY) to the Pricing Service.
• The Pricing Service rejects the request with an error similar to: "Incorrect number of decimals for currency JPY. Allowed number of decimals is 0."
• As a result, the manual pricing condition cannot be created, and the pricing update fails.

SAP CPQ

• This behavior is related to the default rounding behavior introduced in SAP CPQ 2408 for Variant Pricing calls.
• If the business scenario requires Variant Pricing requests to use the default decimal places configured for the document currency (for example, 0 decimal places for JPY/KRW or other similar currencies), create a support incident under component CEC-SAL-CPQ and reference this KBA so that SAP Support can review your tenant configuration.
