3502852 - Error "POLICY_PARSING_ERROR" occurs when transporting API Proxy

Symptom

  • The transport of an API proxy fails with a 'POLICY_PARSING_ERROR' error.
  • Attempts to transport via TMS, manual import, and creation in the target system all result in 'POLICY_PARSING_ERROR'.
  • The following error is displayed in the API Portal:
    • POLICY_PARSING_ERROR[Request ID: <XXXXXXXXXXXX>]
  • Additionally, the browser console traces show the error:
    • Assertion failed: could not find any translatable text for key 'POLICY_PARSING_ERROR' in bundle file(s): 'sap/apimgmt/i18n/messagebundle_en.properties', 'sap/apimgmt/i18n/messagebundle.properties'
