3502888 - Multiple Customer Roles Assignment to a Business Partner Replication

You are looking for information regarding how to handle suppliers in SAP Sales Cloud Version 2.

Use Case: you  want to work with suppliers in V2.
you created a Business Partner with the role FLVN01 in S4H and synchronized the BP to V2.
The synchronization was successful and the customer was created in V2 with the role FLVN01 but You cannot see it in the customer/account list.

You are using the businessPartnerS4ReplicationMessageIn interface to import Business Partner data and provided in the payload of message the role respective to the Supplier. This is a supplier which will lead to creation of a supplier instance.

1. Open the navigation menu.
2. Accounts View.
3. Search for account ID replicated from S4H
4. Account won't be created only providing a supplier. 

In general, It is possible to assign multiple roles to a Business Partner in CNS. The known restriction implies that you cannot assign multiple customer roles to a business partner.

You can assign a customer and a supplier role to a business partner. However, it is not possible to load suppliers into a Sales Tenant but only into an ESM tenant. 

There are no plans now to bring in Suppliers for sales scenarios in the near future.

As alternative to achieve what you want could work by using custom roles/relationships. I.e., bring the suppliers in as Accounts in a custom role Supplier and then use Z relationships.

However, bare in mind in case you have a customer and a supplier role on S/4 side; Then you would loose this information in CNS because we can have only one customer role in CNS.
