3502975 - Error FDC_POSTING_001181 occurs in verify journal entries process

Symptom

In verify general journal entries process, error FDC_POSTING_001181 occurs when posting.

The submitted document is now in status Failed.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In app Verify General Journal Entries- For Requestor, submit a journal entry.
  2. In app Verify General Journal Entries - For Processor (Inbox), approve submitted journal entry.

Cause

The workflow is not set correctly.

Resolution

In app Manage Workflows for Journal Entry Verification - In General Ledger, under step Sequence, there is no 'Post' step configured.
