When trying to approve a Rehire Workflow, ""Error occurred when transitioning the workflow." is displayed.

Note: The error does not pop up when there's no Workflow assigned to this transaction.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Rehire an inactive employee via Rehire Inactive Employee or Accept Match in Add New Employee Wizard;
2. Submit Workflow;
3. Proxy as the approver;
4. Try to approve;
5. "Error occurred when transitioning the workflow." is displayed.

Engineering Team confirmed that's a product issue.

Plan is to deliver the fix with 2411 release in November 15th.

Workaround:

Disable the Workflow.
