3503412 - Data stored in a custom note field shows HTML tags when exported from Data Workbench

When a Custom Note field is exported from data workbench, it consists of HTML tags.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Add data into a custom note(rich text editor) field
2. Perform an export of this data using data workbench
3. The exported excel field displays the data along with tags  (Example tags :<div><p><strong>)

The is because the custom note(Rich text editor) field is a "Formatted Text" field. In a formatted text field, the data is stored in the backend along with these HTML tags. Since, Data Workbench pulls the data from the backend, the data is displayed for this field with the HTML tags.

In order to avoid these tags, it is suggested to use a "Text" type field instead of a "Formatted Text" type field.
