3503529 - Credit control is not triggerred when outbound delivery is created

Symptom

All configurations in relation with credit control have been maintained for customer &1. However, credit control is not triggerred when outbound delivery &2 is created.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

One of the multiple reasons is that the "risk class" was maintained for the business partner after the sales order (pre-document of the outbound delivery) was created. The  "risk class" data is a must as early as the sales order creation. If this data is "blank" when the sales order was created, no credit control will be triggered during the delivery creation phase, even though the "risk class" was maintained for this business partner afterwards.

Resolution

The "Cause" part explains this issue.
