3503674 - SSL setting mismatch error while trying to register SPS07 secondary site

Symptom

  • The primary replication site was runnin below Hana 2.0 SPS07
  • One of the secondary sites was upgraded to Hana 2.0 SPS07 or higher
  • While trying to register the upgraded site, errors similar to the following can be seen in nameserver trace:

PersistenceManag DisasterRecoveryProtocol.cpp(08845) : SSL setting mismatch between local and peer site [id=xxx name=xxx]. local requires ssl -> 0 peer requires ssl -> 1
PersistenceManag DisasterRecoveryProtocol.cpp(08847) : Please check enable_ssl parameter settings on all sites
PersistenceManag DisasterRecoveryProtocol.cpp(08850) : Temporarily resolve the mismatch by upgrading the connection to use SSL
