3504091 - Redesigned Experience of Viewing Pending Workflow Requests for Pending Requests That I Approved tab - Employee Central

Symptom

Workflow "Assigned to" and "Send Back" are appearing under "Pending Requests That I Approved" tab in View my pending requests page.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Initiate a Workflow by User A
  2. As User B, click on Assigned To Me option
  3. As User B, Send workflow Back
  4. Workflow appears under View my pending requests > Pending Requests That I Approved tab.

Cause

New design for workflow management as per 1H 2024 Release.

Resolution

This is an expected behavior to see workflows that have been sent back displayed in the "Pending Requests That I Approved" tab. This means that the approver has only returned the workflow without giving their approval.

However, responsible team will update our Guide by 2411 Release.
