3504101 - Incorrect result of an action due to wrong "Own Business System Key" in SAP EWM

Symptom

A wrong Own Business System Key (/SCMB/TOWNBS-BSKEY) after a client/system copy, or simply by specifying more than one BS Key can cause specific errors, e.g. during testing in a test system. Below symptoms may appear:

  1. Returns Delivery (Document Type IRET - Inbound Returns) item (Item Type ICR - Customer Returns) can be deleted in EWM, but system does not send deletion message to ERP, causing an inconsistency between the systems. In EWM, the item is already deleted, but in ERP, the item still exists.
     
  2. Request Invoice Before Goods Issue does not work. When using "Request Invoice and Save" function in /SCWM/FD, system stops with error message "Maintain the system configuration for system &1" (Message no. /SCWM/DLV_DIRODO002)
