Symptom
When using the Employee Central Quick Action > Change Phone Number, it's not saving when adding a new Phone number when there are no Phone numbers registered yet.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Phone Information
Reproducing the Issue
Prerequisite - Configured Employee Central Quick Action Template, refer to Configuring an Employee Central Quick Action Template | SAP Help Portal.
- Navigate to home page of the affected user.
- Click on Manage Data.
- Select on Change Phone Numbers.
- Try to add a new phone number and submit.
- System does not allow to add new phone number via Quick Actions.
Resolution
- This issue will be fixed in 2H 2024 release.
- Workaround - New Phone number details can be added from People Profile Page.
