3504393 - The Third Party Inbound Delivery Notification ID with _1 in format

In third party order with internal company scenario, after releasing the relevant Outbound Delivery ABC, the following created Inbound Delivery Notification ABC_1 with _1 in format which is not same as the standard Outbound Delivery ID. (ABC represent for the Outbound Delivery ID)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Third-Party Order Fulfillment work center.
2. Go to Third-Party Delivery Notifications view.
3. Choose All Delivery Notifications by Selection from down list.
4. Search for ABC*.
5. See that the Third-Party Delivery Notification ABC_1 is different with the standard Outbound Delivery ABC.

If there already has a standard Inbound Delivery Notification ABC present in system, then in third party order with internal company scenario, after releasing standard Outbound Delivery ABC, system will assign a new desired Third Party Inbound Delivery Notification ID with _1 or _2 or _3 to distinguish them.

It is a standard system behavior.

To avoid this issue, either, the number range of Inbound Delivery Notification should not be similar with Outbound Delivery, or it should be defined some different number range to Outbound Delivery early.
