Symptom

Receiving certificate error when adding connector to an external system

When trying to integrate with an external system, the following error is displayed:

Fetching data error - rest service javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

There is no option to add the certificate via the CDP Dashboard.
