Custom tasks is assigned to a different user but current user is able to see the task and edit it.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Go to Onboarding dashboard
2. Find the candidate
3. All activities and tasks are visible
4. User that is not assignee for the task can edit it

Customtask permission given.

Once custom task permission is given, the user will see the task and edit it. The custom task permission is responsable to give user hability to edit tasks, even the ones that are not assigned to.

There is no such permission to control individually which task is editable or not.
