3505179 - Fields in Personal Data Collection (either from custom object or standard fields) Displays as "No Data" for External User Despite Running Visibility Tool - Onboarding

In the Onboarding process, external users are encountering an issue where the custom objects or standard HRIS Fields (added as picklists) displays as "No Data." Additionally, the visibility tool is not consistently updating the visibility settings automatically.

Missing permissions

In order to solve the issue, please proceed as the following:

1. Go to Manage Permission Roles > External Onboarding User role 
2. Miscellaneous Permissions Category > Ensure that the object permissions are granted
3. Onboarding or Offboarding Object Permissions > Grant the following permissions:
   • ONB2CustomTaskDataCollection (View & Edit)
   • Onboarding data collection configuration (View & Edit)
   • Onboarding data collection user configuration (View & Edit)
4. External User Visibility Tool should be set for picklists and objects if they are associated in Personal Data Collection step. 

NOTE: The external user visibility tool is only used to set the external user visibility for the objects which are already present in the system. If any new data is added or the object is modified, the external user visibility tool should be run again to ensure that the visibility is set.
