3505311 - BW Live Hierarchical level access not reflecting for users in story in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Hierarchical level Access defined for users in BW.
• When selecting the correct nodes in the input control, data is not reflecting in the charts.

• SAP Analytics Cloud Enterprise (2024.8.16)
• BW Live connection

1. Login to SAC.
2. Open story based on BW live connection.
3. In the input control, select a node that the user has access to.
4. Notice that the input control shows the selected node but also still showing the upper hierarchy node.
5. Open filter settings.
6. Select only the node that the user has access to, as Selected Members.
7. The story loads correctly.
8. If the input control is configured by a flat presentation (not Hierarchy) of the dimension, it loads correctly as well.
