3505373 - 'Content Object is active' remains unchecked even though it was mapped as active when run an item connector

Administrator wants to add an item with a content object by connector. However, 'Content Object is active' remains unchecked, even though the content object was mapped as active.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Log into HCM > navigate to Learning Administration > System Administration > Connectors > Download Connector Template >
2. Select 'Download Template (only mapped columns)' > Item Connectors > download both 'item_data_company ID' and 'content_module_data_company ID' template >
3. Map the 'NOTACTIVE' column to 'N' on both files >
4. Upload the files to the proper SFTP folder >
5. Run the Item Connector >
6. Go back to the System Administration > Content > Content Objects > search for the content object in question > notice that 'Content Object is active' remains unchecked.

• 'Content Object is active' is controlled by APP_NOTACTIVE which is in the 'item_data_company ID' template;
• If uploading Only 1 Content Object Per Item, administrator should only use 'item_data_company ID' template.

1. Navigate to Learning Administration > System Administration > Connectors > Download Connector Template >
2. Select 'Download Template (all columns)' > Item Connectors > item_module_data_company ID >
3. Map the item and content object accordingly, then map the 'APP_NOTACTIVE' column to N >
4. Upload the files to the proper SFTP folder >
5. Run the Item Connector.
