3505402 - Unable to convert classic story to optimised in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Unable to convert classic story to optimized design experience mode.
• It takes 15 minutes time to appear to the Convert + Save As dialog box.
• Error in console - Uncaught (in promise). RangeError: Invalid string length
• No error on SAC screen. Stays on loading in progress indicator forever.

SAP Analytics Cloud

1. Login to SAC.
2. Open the story.
3. Go to File -> Convert to Optimized Design Experience. The dialog box will appear.
4. Before converting, open the developer tools to capture console logs and network traces.
5. Click on Convert + Save As.
6. Loading in progress for 15 minutes.
7. After 15 minutes, the dialog box will appear to give a new name to the story. Give a new name.
8. After few seconds, notice the error in console logs - Uncaught (in promise). RangeError: Invalid string length
9. SAC screen stays on Cloning story... without any error.
