3505417 - BO Login fails in cluster with error: The CMS on machine 'Hostname' was stopped due to a critical error.

Symptom

  • Cannot login to CMC or BI launchpad when it is clustered environment . Cannot login when using Server node 1 and Tomcat from node 2 , Server Node 2 and Tomcat from node 1
  • No issue is seen when using server node 1 and Tomcat from node 1 and vice versa.
  • Error seen on Server node1:- Account information not recognized: Could not reach CMS . The CMS on machine  was stopped due to a critical error. (FWM 20031) 
  • Error seen on Server node2:- Account information not recognized: Could not reach CMS 'Hostname'. Specify the correct Host and Port and check for network issues
