3505738 - After HANA system replication ssl configuration change registration of tier 3 secondary shows status UNKNOWN

Symptom

Post a hardware migration HANA system replication setup was re-enabled in Multi-Tier setup.

Changes were made manually to pre-existing enabled ssl configuration on secondary sites.

The tier 3 DR site registration is successful but system replication status shows 'UNKNOWN'.

Nameserver traces of the primary show the following error constantly:

e sr_nameserver    DRClient.cpp(00924) : Could not reach any host of site '1' to send request 'dr_getservers'. Hosts: (<secondary host>:4<instance>06) Errors: 
nameserver communication error;connection refused(5500)

....
