3505910 - Indicator for Rollup Cost Component in configuration "Define Cost Component Structure" (SSCUI 102427) - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cost component assignment of cost element is not as expected in Material Cost Estimates.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Execute "Create Material Cost Estimates"(CK11N) or "Display Material Cost Estimates"(CK13N). 
2. In cost component view, confirm the cost comp. of the cost element is A. 
3. In configuration "Define Cost Component Structure" (SSCUI 102427), confirm the cost element is configured into cost component B. 
4. In configuration "Define Cost Component Structure" (SSCUI 102427), navigate to cost comp. A. 
5. Click the name of cost comp. A to view the details, then confirm 'Roll up Cost Component' is ticked. 
6. Select 'Cost Rollup' field and press F1 for Helper Information.  

“Indicator for Rollup Cost Component
This indicator determines whether the costing results of a cost component are rolled up into the next-highest costing level (cost rollup).

Use
You can specify which cost components are rolled up into the next-highest costing level according to the criteria specific to your organization.

Example
If the sales and administration costs and the cost of goods manufactured are to be costed simultaneously in a costing level, you can proceed as follows:

• You set this indicator for the cost components identified as the cost of goods manufactured. These costs are rolled up into the next-highest costing level. 
• You do not set this indicator for the cost components identified as sales and administration costs. These costs remain on the costing level on which they were originally calculated.”

This is standard behavior because 'Rollup Cost Component' is enabled.
