3505961 - the release versions of the system and of the studio do not match

Symptom

Unable to log into the SDK.

Environment

  • SAP Cloud for Customer
  • SAP Business ByDesign
  • SAP Cloud Application Studio

Reproducing the Issue

Attempting to log into the SDK results in the following errors:

  • The release versions of the system and of the studio do not match.
  • Please use the appropriate studio version.

Cause

The wrong Studio version is being used for the respective tenant. Once an upgrade on a tenant is performe, there is an accompanying upgraded SDK that needs to be downloaded and installed. Eg logging into the SDK for a 2402 tenant requires 2402 SDK.

Resolution

Install the SDK with same release version as the tenant associated with it.
