3506160 - Individual Account can't be changed / deleted

• A user has reported that a Business Partner (BP), whether an Individual Account or Company Account, cannot be removed or modified from the Involved Parties section within a Registered Product.
• The trash bin icon is not available to remove the default Business Partner (BP) from the Involved Parties.

1. Navigate to the Registered Products work center.
2. Open any Registered Product in the detailed view.
3. Go to the Involved Parties tab.
4. Attempt to delete a Business Partner (BP) from the list (observe that the trash bin icon is unavailable).

• Configuration
• At least one default Business Partner (BP) must be present as an Involved Party in a Registered Product.
• Consequently, the option to delete this BP is disabled.
• The trash bin icon will only be available when additional BPs are added to the Registered Product under different roles, such as Bill-To, Ship-To, Payer, etc.

The user can change the main Involved Party using one of the following methods:

Option 1:

1. From the Registered Products work list, click on the desired Registered Product ID to open the Quick View.
2. Under the Customer section, change the related Account/Contact/Individual Customer. This action will update the Registered Product with a different BP.

Option 2:

1. From the Registered Products work list, click on the desired Registered Product ID to open the Detailed View.
2. Go to the Involved Parties tab.
3. Click on the Main Involved Party (represented by a pencil icon).
4. Under the General section, select either Account or Individual Customer, depending on the BP type.
5. Under the Name field, use the Help Value to find and select a replacement BP.
