3506165 - Cannot Filter Purchase Order Item ID Column in Goods and Services Receipts

Users are unable to filter records using the Purchase Order Item ID column in the Goods and Services Receipts work center. The column only provides sorting options, and the filter option is not available.

1. Navigate to the Goods and Services Receipts work center.
2. Select the Show by Items view.
3. Locate the Purchase Order Item ID column.
4. Notice that when selecting the "Purchase Order Item ID" column, the filter option is missing, and only sorting options are available.

This behavior is due to the standard system design.

In general, columns within a work center are based on a single underlying data source, which allows the system to provide filtering capabilities. However, the Purchase Order Item ID column is derived from a combination of two associated business objects: Purchase Order and Purchase Order Item.

To improve data visibility, the application uses a different display logic when information is merged from multiple data sources. Due to this technical limitation, filtering functionality cannot be provided for the Purchase Order Item ID column.

This is standard system behavior.

As an alternative, use the main search/filter field and enter the relevant Purchase Order number. The system will then display all items associated with the specified Purchase Order, allowing you to locate the required Purchase Order Item information.
