Symptom

Unable to set dynamic text [#Date]-1 on broadcasting description or body of the schedule publication email details in SAC.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud 2.0

Reproducing the Issue

Login to SAC.
Open the story.
Schedule the publication for the story that contains previous day data.
Open calendar..
Select the Event name.
In Publication details choose the dynamic text as [#Date]-1 to make end user aware that the data in the story is of previous day.
In Email Message also set the dynamic text [#Date]-1
Click on Ok.

Notice: After the successful publication of event when checked the publication email find the dynamic text is not working as expected.

Cause

The behavior is by design.

Resolution

Currently it is not possible to set the dynamic text as [Date] - 1 to set the previous date in broadcasting description or body of the scheduled event.

Solution is to manually fill in the date in the email subject and description it will be reflected with the scheduled event.
