3506617 - Auto-refreshing webi reports hang on 'Refresh Document' with HTTPS

Symptom

  • Web Intelligence reports that are refreshed several times in a row (eg Auto-refreshing) may hang on 'Refresh Document'
  • In the HAR traces, it is seen that the connections are being closed prematurely after a period of time, eg:
    net::ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED
    https://<HOST>/BOE/portal/2304051758/biprwsproxy/biprws/raylight/v1/documents/34882844/occurrences/1?c=1709649343862
  • In the Web application side traces, it can be seen that the request is still being processed, despite the connection being closed
  • The issue only occurs with HTTPS, HTTP is working fine
