3507098 - Lost Access to Work Centers View While Assign a Business Role

You have lost access to previous Work Centers View while assigning a Business Role.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Application and User Management work center.
2. Go to User and Access Management view.
3. Go to Business Roles view.
4. Select New to create the Business Role XYZ (where XYZ represents the Business Role).
5. Assign the required business role to selected user.
6. You realize that lost previous work centers access rights.

If a business role is assigned to a user and you save the user's access rights, the access rights in the business role overwrite any access rights that you have previously given to the user manually.

If you want keep the user's current access rights, you can either work without business roles or you can update the business roles with the missing access rights.

Please be aware to grant access to required work centers view to the Business Role before assign it, otherwise previous access will be lost.
