3507123 - 'Dunning ID AAA: E-Mail Address cannot be left blank.' Error While Executing Dunning

Error message is thrown while Executing Dunning:

'Dunning ID AAA: E-Mail Address cannot be left blank.'

AAA represents the Dunning ID.

However, e-mail address was not left blank.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Receivables work center.
2. Go to the Dunning view.
3. Find Dunning ID AAA, with Status In Preparation.
4. Click Actions and click Execute Dunning.
5. Error is thrown:

'Dunning ID AAA: E-Mail Address cannot be left blank.'

In Customer Master Data two e-mail addresses have been entered together in the same row, separated by a comma, which is not supported by the system.

To check this, follow the steps below:

1. Open the respective customer master data (Corporate Account: ABC, ABC represents the customer account ID).
2. Go to the Communication tab.
3. Go to the Collaboration sub-tab.
4. For Business Document Name Dunning Outbound with Output Channel E-Mail, under Recipient Type two e-mail addresses have been entered in one row (either with Receipt Type To, Cc or Bcc).

For example:

Recipient Type: To

E-Mail: abc@dummytest.com, xyz@dummytest.com

Maintain only one e-mail address per Recipient Type row.

For example:

Recipient Type: To

E-mail: abc@dummytest.com

Recipient Type: To

E-mail: xyz@dummytest.com
