Sales BOM explosion is not working when creating sales order.

Italy - sales org 2310: Customer 1035670; Sales Kit E20BOXMININTER.
-> BOM explosion is working fine.

Spain - sales org 2410: Customer 1016822; Sales Kit PEXPINT1LL.
-> BOM explosion is not working.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Both BOM materials are maintained with BOM usage 3 and 5 (in other words, there are two BOMs for each material):

• For material E20BOXMININTER and BOM usage 3, items are sales relevant.
• However, for material PEXPINT1LL and BOM usage 3, all the items are not relevant to sales.

When the BOM header material is entered in the sales order, the backend logic determines which BOM to use (the BOM with usage 3, or the BOM with usage 5). The priority for selection is based on the production version. As you mentioned, both materials have a production version with BOM usage '3', hence the BOM with usage 3 is picked and returned to the sales order. As per mentioned in the "Research" part, for material PEXPINT1LL and BOM usage 3 there are no sales-relevant items.

-> This is the reason why there is no explosion for PEXPINT1LL.
