3507179 - "Suspend" button is not available in Import Automation settings of Import Collection app

You want to suspend the automatic import configuration but when opening the "Import Automation Settings" the "Suspend" checkbox is not available so you're not able to suspend the automation.

2. Select the "Import Automation Settings" app
3. Suspend button is not available

You have turned ON the simple mode and suspend functionality is not available during this mode. Suspend functionality is available only in flexible mode. 

You can choose to transport your software collections using the Simple Transport Mode or the Flexible Transport Mode. The transport mode is valid for the entire transport process in a 3-system landscape. The mode has an impact on the business configuration transports at creation and export and on the import and forward options of all transport types.

• Simple Transport Mode: This mode offers a basic functionality for transporting and reduces the possibility to end up in complex transport dependencies for business configuration transports. Only one business configuration transport can be created until it's released to collect all changes on this single transport. The import steps for all transport types are configured automatically, but offer the possibility of individual instant imports as well.

• Flexible Transport Mode: This mode offers the full flexibility of transports. It offers the possibility to create multiple business configuration transports in parallel, which could result in a dependency network across multiple transports. The automation import is optional. You can bypass dependencies via pre-import, and you can discard transports.

In order to show the "Suspend" button, you need to turn OFF the Simple Transport Mode and activate the Flexible Transport mode. 

You can configure these settings in the Extensibility Settings app of your Development System. The activation will be set across the entire landscape.
