Symptom

The following error message occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

  • Something went wrong while converting the story to Optimized Design Experience. Cannot read properties of null (reading 'entityId')
  • You are trying to convert stories from Business Content, provided by SAP, for example: SAP_FI_FPA_IM_S4FinancialPlan_Dashboard.
  • The conversion fails.
