Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Calibration
  • SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Calibration Templates
  2. Select a template
  3. Select the Data tab
  4. In the Performance section, select one of the rating options
  5. Expand Set Numerical Distribution (optional)
  6. Enter values and receive the error

Cause

Multiple guidelines have been entered for the same number of subjects

Resolution

The system will highlight the newest entered value for the same number of subjects:

By system design, there can only be one row for each Total Number value. The system considers the above entry as a duplicate guideline even if some of the operator and number combinations differ. To correct this issue, you can:

  • Delete the duplicated guidelines
  • Change the Total Number field for one of the guidelines to a different number. You'll also need to adjust the guideline details to match the number change
