3507870 - DS Agent is down, but we are not able to start it

Symptom

  • The agent was once connected, but now shows as disconnected with a red status icon.
  • DSOnPremiseAgentLog contains the following error, which is written shortly after the agent service starts:
    • 2024-08-15 15:15:46 UTC SEVERE: register with cloud received Error Code : 401
      2024-08-15 15:15:46 UTC SEVERE: register with cloud received Error : , response content:agent identification does not match the one on the server
      2024-08-15 15:15:46 UTC SEVERE: Agent registration failed.
      2024-08-15 15:15:46 UTC SEVERE: Exception in initializing agent Agent registration failed.
