3507917 - Error "Unsupported or unrecognized SSL message" when using FTPS adapter in Cloud Integration

Symptom

When using FTPS adapter, the following error message can be seen in Cloud Integration:

  • org.apache.camel.component.file.GenericFileOperationFailedException: File operation failed: null Unsupported or unrecognized SSL message. Code: 0, cause: javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Unsupported or unrecognized SSL message

The stack trace exception below is seen in the Cloud Integration system log files (ljs traces):

  • org.apache.camel.component.file.GenericFileOperationFailedException: File operation failed: null Unsupported or unrecognized SSL message. Code: 0
        at org.apache.camel.component.file.remote.FtpOperations.doConnect(FtpOperations.java:153)
        at org.apache.camel.component.file.remote.FtpOperations.connect(FtpOperations.java:104)
