When entering numerical distribution values in a Calibration session template, receive an error:

The distribution exceeds the total number.

1. Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Calibration Templates
2. Select a template
3. Select the Data tab
4. In the Performance section, select one of the rating options
5. Expand Set Numerical Distribution (optional)
6. Enter values and receive the error

Specific to using the ranges from operator where the sum of all from number fields and equal (=) Number fields is greater than the Total Number integer

When using the ranges from operator, two integers can be entered to create a range. The integer on the left, or the lowest number in the range, is considered the from number. The integer on the right, or the highest number in the range, is considered the to number. The Total Number integer must be within the range of the total from numbers and total to numbers.

For this error, the sum of all from numbers and equal (=) Number fields within the guideline distribution are higher than the Total Number integer. For example:

From the above picture, the sum of all from numbers and equal (=) Number fields is 8:

The sum of the total from numbers (8) is higher than the Total Number integer (5). To resolve this error, you can:

• Increase the Total Number integer to be equal to or higher than the from number total e.g., 8 or higher
• Decrease the from number total to be equal to or lower than the Total Number integer e.g., 5 or lower
