Symptom
SAP Solution Manager performs communication to different SAP backend servers to execute functions in different scenarios as EarlyWatch, ITSM, System Landscape information, Service Delivery, Content Monitoring updates, SCU updates, etc.
For security and connectivity reasons, different hostnames must be allowed in the company firewall/proxy to allow Solution Manager system to reach SAP backend servers.
