3508002 - 'Payt advice for payt AAA not created; direct acct assignment not supported' Error When Trying to Create Remittance Advice From Payment

System throws error 'Payt advice for payt AAA not created; direct acct assignment not supported' when trying to create remittance advice from an outgoing payment (for example, outgoing check and outgoing bank transfer).

AAA represents the payment ID.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Payment Management or the Liquidity Management work center.
2. Go to the Payment Monitor view.
3. Select either an Outgoing Check or an Outgoing Bank Transfer with Status Ready For Transfer.
4. Click Create Remittance Advice button.
5. Error is thrown:

'Payt advice for payt AAA not created; direct acct assignment not supported'

The creation of remittance advices for outgoing payments which have Payment Application Method Direct Posting to G/L Account is not supported.

System behaves as expected.

The creation of remittance advices is enabled for outgoing payments with Payment Application Method Reference to Items.
