3508035 - Workflow requester not receiving notification when a sales order is approved

When a sales order is approved, the requester of the sales order does not receive the notification in the "My Inbox" app.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

It is standard design that if a sales order is approved (neither being rejected nor requiring rework), the requester will not receive a notification in his/her "My Inbox" app and the notification bar.

Below two suggestions are provided:

• Email notifications can be set up following link: Set Up Email Notifications for Approval Workflows to have the requester receive the approval notification.
• To have the feature that the requester can receive the approval notification in "My Inbox" app, it is recommended to submit a feature request via the Customer Influence Portal.
